In his experience, Cook has found that it is better to trust God's providence and follow Him in His way, rather than to try and determine where the path leads before He's ready to show us. Unlike humanity, God always has a plan and a solution, so maybe our focus should be more on trusting His providence rather than trying to anticipate His omniscience.
